Gradated Ceiling
Glaze colors from yellow to orange to red to purple were applied successively to this stairwell/upstairs hall ceiling, and blended color to color, gradating from light to dark. This application was done twice to simulate the rich colors of a luminous sunset. On the walls, three custom-designed glaze colors were applied and blended simultaneously. Belmont, Ca.
